Operating between March and September from Manston or Headcorn, these flights take in a tour of the local area. There are a range of different flights on offer showcasing the best of Kent’s countryside and coastline, castles, landmarks, towns and cities.
Nestled in the heart of the Low Weald of Kent, the Aerodrome at Headcorn was first used by one aircraft in the 1920s and then served as an advanced landing ground for Canadians and then Americans in World War II. Today, as a private civil airfield, it is a busy airfield with parachuting, training, wing walking as well as a museum and café.
Shared flights from Headcorn take place in our R44 or B206 helicopter, allowing 3 or 4 passengers to enjoy the flight. Flights are operated generally once a month through the summer months. Also on offer and available 7 days a week, exclusive flights are operated in our R44 helicopter giving up to 3 passengers the chance to enjoy the flight.
The 20 minute flight over Kent will explore the beautiful area local to Headcorn. We will fly you over Sissinghurst House and Gardens and then on to Leeds Castle and the beautiful scenery of the Low Weald of Kent.
The 30 minute flight over Kent will explore the local area and fly you over Scotney Castle and Leeds Castle the ‘Loveliest Castle in the World’ which are spectacular from the air. See if you can see the Maze at Leeds which consists of 2,400 yew trees!
This tour is currently being planned and will offer an alternative route to our existing 30 minute tour. Price is the same.
The 40 minute flight over Kent will fly you over Leeds Castle, Scotney Castle and Bodium Castle, see if you can spot the giant carp that inhabit Bodium Moat before heading back to Headcorn Aerodrome.

Although now closed to commercial traffic, Manston Airport has been an airport since the First World War. Located in North East Kent, we operate from a purpose-built hangar on the north side of the airport. We run sightseeing tours from Manston generally on the first weekend of the month. Once you have your voucher, give us a ring and we will arrange the time and date that suits you. The flight will be in a shared aircraft and, although we will always endeavour to fly you on the route that you would prefer, we may need to follow the route decided by the pilot on the day.

See the delights of the coastline from Margate around to Pegwell Bay. Fly over the fantastic beaches including Botany Bay, Joss Bay and Viking Bay as well as the coastal towns of Broadstairs, Ramsgate. If the time of year is right, maybe see the seals off the Goodwin Sands on your way back to Manston.
A fantastic trip along the Kent coast flying over the Medieval Cinque Port of Sandwich, then following the coast south over Deal, Deal Castle, Walmer Castle, St Margaret’s Bay to the stunning White cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle and Port before returning along back along the coast to Manston.
Following the North Kent coast, past the historic twin towers and Roman fort at Reculver, flying over the picturesque seaside towns of Herne Bay and Whitstable, before turning inland to take in the sights of Canterbury and the world-famous Canterbury Cathedral
Follow the Dover tour to the port before turning inland to follow the A2 along the edge of the beautiful Kent Downs to the historic city of Canterbury. Pick up the North Kent Coast on the way back to Manston and see the seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay and finally the historic Roman landmark of the Reculver Towers.
